With experience of hosting engagements, weddings, birthdays, corporate events & sporting dos, we’re flexible to your needs & can achieve the event you want. We’re a 5 minute walk from Chester Train Station and the many accommodation options on City Road.
Food packages start from £8.50 a head, an in-house sound system allows you to play your music & there’s space for a band or DJ. You can also decorate the room as you wish.
With two big screens, dartboard and PlayStation, the space is available to hire for sporting events and midweek for fewer than 30 guests.
The food was great, the staff very attentive and having our own bar made the experience very personal.

We also have a free-to-hire function room across the road at The Cornerhouse which holds 50-90 guests & may be available on your chosen date, even if The Cellar isn’t.
Please note: we do not host children’s parties, 18ths, baby showers, gender reveals, stag or hen parties. Please also note that we are only able to offer a free-to-hire venue by ensuring that the parties we book are profitable, and any booking enquiry may be discounted on that basis.
